Yward and Folkert Botma bring real, fresh and seasonal food, straight from their land, into your modern life. Because eating well, deliciously and healthily every day doesn't have to be complicated. Where they previously did this exclusively for businesses, they're now adding a new target audience: you. Higuita developed the digital design of the website.

From Frisian soil to every device

The Botma brothers want to share their love for real food with all of the Netherlands. By selling their daily-fresh products and meal boxes online, even more people can enjoy healthy, organic vegetables from their Frisian fields.

The challenge was to translate that authentic craftsmanship, the daily expertise, the hands-on approach, into a high-converting webshop. The solution lay in a custom webshop, thoughtfully designed from start to finish. Where we do apply converting e-commerce elements, but within a natural-feeling style and the Botmas identity.

Photography and content as the foundation


Good food is meant to be seen. Well-photographed, wholesome products lead to higher conversion. Especially when you can almost taste that they've just come from the field. That's why product photography was the primary foundation of the digital design.

The environmental photography and the photographed products work together to guide the user through the website. Smart visual elements to add items to your basket make the online shopping experience feel like one at the local farm shop. An optimal user flow for higher conversion. From the field straight to your home. The digital design honours that promise.
