In a nationwide campaign with a focus on video Unique wanted to reacquaint itself with their audience. We created a film in which we laughed in the face of research saying there are only 16 types of personality, celebrated diversity and urged the viewer to not accept their work status quo and look further.

Part of Unique’s new brand positioning was the redesign of their virtual home: [www.unique.nl](https://www.unique.nl). Because our campaigns were significantly led by bold headlines, we wanted this same tone of voice to be heard in every corner of their website as well. Together with the heroes of our campaign that were shot in their everyday surroundings, the website now plays an active role in landing every visitor in the right environment.

After the first brand awareness campaign we followed up with two new campaign flights in which we focused on getting possible candidates to sign up. With copy lines that urged people to review their current job, we made them look further at Unique’s offer.

### A match made in heaven 

With their team full of bubbly, active characters and personal way of working, GoDo is not the Plain Jane of the recruitment world. So, we wanted them to look far from that. We gave them a fresh new look to attract new companies and candidates. We choose contrasting colors that really pop out. And just like no candidate or client of them is like the other, none of the used shapes in the brand are either. We designed round forms that have a nice contrast with the straight content blocks of the website. Round also gives you that feeling of trust. Besides that, we created different energetic shapes. If they could speak, they would be saying to you: GoDo it!

While attracting new companies and candidates with this new branding, it’s important that they will land on not only an appealing website, but also one that works as smoothly as possible. GoDo was using an outdated WordPress setup. We brought them up to speed by upgrading it with a headless setup based on NextJS. It also seamlessly integrates with Bullhorn, their Applicant Tracking System. We helped their website into the modern age. Now, applying for a nice new job will be super fast and easy peasy.

You don't have to change the world to change the world. Sometimes you just have to look at it through the eyes of a child. One of the highlights of our long term brand positioning campaigns is this festive season campaign set around toys. To inspire (grand)parents to give second-hand toys as gifts instead of new ones, we invited 14 Dutch families for a unique toy test.
  
  
What happened was that the children gave their parents a different perspective on the value of second-hand toys.

To answer this, a self-driving ambulance was built and unleashed on an unsuspecting audience in Amsterdam. The car drove to a staged accident in an effort to bring medical aid without a driver or other healthcare personnel. From this event we made different video edits for social media to create awareness for the issue.

Our campaign video was picked up and shared by different online news and healthcare media outlets. In the following weeks the buzz around Medi Interim peaked and consultants of the organization reported only positive feedback from partners, clients, and others in the field of healthcare. Awareness for the issue was raised and Medi Interim was put on the map.      

The ambulance in the video was in reality being steered by a stuntman, hidden inside the seating of the car. When the car arrived at the accident the doors opened automatically and a drone flew around to give first aid. To make this possible the ambulance itself was customized by Car Casting Holland.

By literally zooming in on the work of Sainthill, we gave potential clients the freedom to explore the exceptional craft, detail and love that the team puts into their work. The copy put words to the essence of frame making according to Guy. And was turned into an aspiring tagline: You see more when you look better (‘Als je goed kijkt zie je meer’), Sainthill guilds, restores and eternalizes.

Since every case for USG Restart is based on a very personal and unique situation, one that people often don’t feel comfortable with talking about, we decided to make use of unique illustrations to show what USG Restart does and for whom. We dubbed this the Restart effect, in a breezy and uplifting slightly abstract style, we showed different but recognizable situations about work and life. Situations that USG Restart improved in a feel good way.

The result was a redesign that made sure people understood USG Restart not only has a very personal way of working, but also has an outspoken and optimistic outlook on work. We went for a brand design that made their pride palpable and added a let’s-fix-this mentality, thanks to witty headlines, warm photography, bold typography and bright colours, a combination that made them stand out in their field.

### Growth follows good times  
With their unique and engaging video content Tour de Tietema showed that there is more to cycling than losing weight of your bike frame (and body). They’ve reached a huge following with content of crazy challenges, general silliness and getting close to cycling pro’s. But there were bigger ambitions. 

**The goal:**
To get as many people as possible to exercise and feel better through cycling. 

A name that makes you feel good.

endore is derived from endorphin, the opioid peptide that the body produces when you’re in love, in pain, physically exercising and during an orgasm, amongst other interesting situations. Needless to say it was a very relevant base for a new brand that wants to make you feel good by riding a racing bike.

### Break your boring 
The look and feel of endore oozes good times. A period in your life when you saw your friends so often they felt like family. Endore is the buddy that never grew up and gets you to go out together like you used to. Always in for something fun and adventurous. The added bonus? Now it’s healthy too.  

This mentality is made visible with vibrant energetic colors, soft, slightly nostalgic graphic elements and an outspoken brand voice that jests and motivates.

We also got the opportunity to design the actual activewear collection, a first for us. When doing our research (trying on way too many tight fitting) we realized most cycling brands are boring and exclusively focus on performance. 

We made sure that the pieces in the collection where all about having a good time. We designed a basic (‘high five’), high end (‘breakaway’) and capsule collection (‘extra-ordinaire’).

Through an online game we dropped financial starters in front of a fictional ceo who was in the midst of a take over. This executive was of the old school kind and represented a career not worth pursuing. He was over de top egomaniac, bullish and ignorant. Laughably so.  
  
As a player you had to listen to his financial questions, cut through his bullshit bingo and show the ceo that you actually know your stuff. Depending on the amount of answers you got right,the ceo would end the meeting on a different note. From very disappointed to let’s-play-golf-next-week. Giving the player an even more immersive experience.

We made sure this ceo was super cringy by styling him like something that walked straight out of the ‘Wall street’ movie set and having him say the most outrageous things about himself and the takeover he was supposed to manage. This way players felt more compelled to just be themselves and teach this dinosaur a lesson.

To launch the product in an impactful way, we chose to turn the tables. We redesigned their website and turned it into dark mode. A pitch black launch campaign created intrigue for people who can see. And we put the target group of blind and visually impaired people at the center of our campaign: by making the campaign and website fully audio led.

Huzzy   Campaign Still 07

The vegan -yay!- condom brand Huzzy was founded to break down this image and empower everyone to feel free to have sex however they like it, no matter who they are. Sexual preference, gender, colour or bodysize shouldn’t be an obstacle. Having sex your way does not make you less of a person or dishonourable.  
  
  
### Exploiting the nipple policy
Why do social media like Instagram reject female nipples but approve to show male boobs? And why do sex-related brands in particular communicate with a predominantly white, female-led, perfect image? We wanted to use this weird policy and cultural insight in favour of our campaign.

We launched Huzzy on social media with a movie that contains full-on nude portraits of a diverse group of people, to expose our audience immediately to the core message: you should be free to shape your own sex life. By bringing the liberal message around sex in a direct way, we tested our audience’s own sexual-ethical compass: do you accept this or not?

### Don’t like what you see? Sue us.   

We knew in advance that social media like Instagram and Facebook would ban the video. That’s why we had a censored version of the video in place, containing graphic illustrations to cover the private parts. We uploaded this version right after the original version was taken down. It was accompanied with the statement that Instagram and Facebook aren’t as liberal about sex as the world should be. Immediately proving our message and getting even more traction from the online community.

### Love is for all on huzzy.love. 

We developed the website www.huzzy.love where people could choose to watch the original Huzzy video, or the censored social-media pleasing version. The player keeps track of how the visitors like to watch the video.

### Power to Deen
Deen, one of the characters in the film are non-binary and were in transformation during the making of the film. They chose to participate because throughout their lives, they were never able to recognize themselves in advertising or popular culture. Notice how non-binary persons want to be addressed with they/them.

Watching a good movie shouldn’t be a drama. The only drama in your living room should be on your screen. So we hired some actors to portray film-watching drama’s. We made it all happen in a classical casting setting.  

The voice-over concludes by saying to stop searching and start watching, *because all you need to do is to leave the drama to the real actors on Film1*.

#### Friends and family in a *frenzy of rage*
Since Film1 is for every type of household we made sure different actors showed up at our casting session. A young couple, a father and her daughter and two friends. They all got instructed to search for a movie for different reasons. And then the mayhem kicked in… The worse they acted, the better our point.

Pretty meta if you ask us, but the internet loved it. Bad actors play good actors to show that drama should be left to real actors. 


To communicate to leave the *drama to the real actors* on Film1 we created a mashup of faces with very over the top emotions like anger and desperation.

#### An exclusive electric offer. 
We decided to build some rumor around the brand by leveling up their ride. Together with Pon, the mother brand behind Check and importer of Porsche, we offered an electric Porsche Taycan within the Check app for a limited period only.

#### Crowd roars, app crashes
The social stunt was a huge success for Check. The average of 300 app users a day was exceeded massively during the days of the campaign, climaxing in a peak of 3.000 users per hour. It even led to a temporary meltdown of the Check app. The amount of Instagram followers grew with 5% thanks to the campaign and several online news media published articles about the stunt.
